Description
The Regulatory Affairs Associate will assist with the filing and communications of government agencies responsible for regulating Nutramax Laboratories, Inc.'s products. This position will be primarily focused on dietary supplement products for humans, however cross training for all regulatory areas and functions (nutritional and drug side for animal health) will be provided.
Responsibilities:
- Assisting with the filings and communications with all government agencies responsible for regulating our products
- Summarizing international and domestic regulatory articles, emails and documents as requested
- Assisting in analyzing and summarizing rules and regulations that affect our business and communicating internally to ensure compliance with such rules and regulations
- Attending meetings/conferences of trade organizations as requested by VP – Legal & Government Affairs
- Assisting with the development of procedures to ensure regulatory compliance
Qualifications
Qualified candidates will possess a Bachelor’s degree, with a minimum of 3 years of regulatory affairs or legal analysis in the dietary supplement industry. Must be detail oriented with strong analytical skills and the ability to multi-task. Excellent organizational skills along with excellent oral and written communication skills a must. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office and Windows-based computer applications required. Some travel required.
