My cat Micky has been taking Dasuquin since March and her joint health is much better. She's even tolerating our kitten jumping on her, and she's back to wanting to play more. Dasuquin® contains avocado/soybean unsaponifiables (ASU), glucosamine, and chondroitin sulfate. The combination of glucosamine and chondroitin sulfate plus ASU has been shown to work better in joint cell studies than just glucosamine and chondroitin sulfate together at inhibiting expression or production of mediators involved in cartilage breakdown. Dasuquin is available with or without MSM (methylsulfonylmethane). Some veterinarians recommend MSM additionally for the management of joint health.
