Lucky Lady the Chocolate Lab

My chocolate lab, Lady, was three years old when she began to have knee issues. By the time she was 6 years old she could barely walk around the block. By evening, she could hardly get up from a laying down position. Our veterinarian gave us a bottle of Dasuquin^® for Dogs to try to help her back legs.

Within one week, she was walking much better. After one month of taking Dasuquin she could walk a mile nightly and seemed to have improved comfort. We are now giving her one tablet daily (which she thinks is a treat because it's liver flavored) and she is acting like a puppy again. We are so grateful for this product and will buy it for our dog forever. I have suggested this to several friends who also have dogs with hip and leg issues, which are so common in large dogs. Dasuquin^® contains avocado/soybean unsaponifiables (ASU), glucosamine, and chondroitin sulfate. The combination of glucosamine and chondroitin sulfate plus ASU has been shown to work better in joint cell studies than just glucosamine and chondroitin sulfate together at inhibiting expression or production of mediators involved in cartilage breakdown. Dasuquin is available with or without MSM (methylsulfonylmethane). Some veterinarians recommend MSM additionally for the management of joint health.
