What does Oxstrin® Optimized do?
Oxstrin Optimized helps to promote oxidative balance in your pet’s body. Oxidative balance is the balance between levels of “oxidants”, which are highly charged oxygen compounds that can alter cells, and “antioxidants” – the “good guys” that can counteract their harmful effects. Antioxidants include enzymes such as superoxide dismutase (SOD) and certain vitamins.
What causes oxidative imbalance in your dog or cat’s body?
Oxidative imbalance results from too many oxidants with not enough antioxidants to work against them. This stress or imbalance can be caused by many things, including aging, medications, conditions in your pet’s body that negatively affect health, pollution, and UV radiation.
How does Oxstrin Optimized help promote oxidative balance?
It stimulates an increase in your pet’s own levels of certain antioxidants, including SOD, considered the body’s most important antioxidant as well as provides antioxidant vitamins.
