No More Tail Chasing With Welactin®!

It is a rare occasion where I would make the effort to complement a product and praise its effect, but I must share with you my experience. I have a rescue dog named "Duke". Duke is 120lb dog with skin and coat problems to the point of spinning in circles to bite his itching tail, he also bites and mangles his hind quarters to the point of bleeding. He has been to the Vet. on three different occasions for this problem as the cost soars to tend to his problems. The Vet. gave him shots, antibiotics, and pain capsules, these tend to give some relief but doesnt solve the problem it only just treats the problem. On my third vet. visit the Doctor gave me: "Welactin Omega-3 Canine" formula, initially I was not confident the product would do anything, as so often supplements and vitamins are said to due some rather lofty claims but fail to perform. I noticed after about 1 week using the product his coat was getting shiny and smooth like a puppy coat. Then I noticed he wasnt chasing his tail so much, but the real big breakthrough was Duke was no longer chomping away at his hind quarters, I was impressed with this product.

Then, I got lazy and stopped using the product, his problems returned as they were before. So I started using the product again and the issues subsided. If nothing else this proved to me it was your product that helped. After this experience I got to thinking there must be a product that Nutramax produced for human consumption so I called and found out yes, there is such a product that Nutramax makes called "Omega Mint". I have yet to buy the product but I am abundantly confident it will have positive effect for my body and perhaps I will stop chasing my own tail regarding my health!  -Thanks, Shawn from California

Thanks for sharing your story. It's wonderful to hear about a pet's personal response to our products.

Welactin® is a great source of the healthy omega-3 fatty acids EPA (eicosapentaenoic acid) and DHA (docosahexanoic acid). The EPA and DHA in Welactin are derived from salmon and other cold water fish. These omega-3 fatty acids have been shown to support healthy skin and coat as well as overall wellness.

In people, physicians are discovering many health benefits from these fatty acids. Omega-3 fatty acids are the good healthy fatty acids that you may have read about for heart health. Supportive but not conclusive research shows that consumption of EPA and DHA omega-3 fatty acids may reduce the risk of coronary heart disease. Research has shown that omega-3 fatty acids help support many other systems in the body as well, including kidney function, the immune system, and the nervous system, and help support overall health.
