What is Proviable?

Proviable-RB is a digestive health supplement used to restore intestinal function and microfloral balance in rabbits. Proviable-RB helps to promote balance of the beneficial microflora by offering guaranteed numbers of live probiotic microorganisms per daily administration. Encapsulated probiotic microorganisms ensure viability and stability and protect against gastric degradation. Added prebiotics, found in both formulations, serve a dual purpose: first to encourage the growth of the beneficial microorganisms and second to provide a non-digestible carbohydrate source (fiber).

The paste formulation contains higher levels of prebiotics providing more fiber to improve intestinal mobility and encourage normal level of cecotroph activity.

The powder formulation provides comprehensive electrolytes and vitamins to help maintain hydration and improve nutritional status.

Administration: Proviable-RB Paste

Give paste as indicated below for 1 to 2 days or as directed by your veterinarian. Paste and powder should be started on the same day.

Administration: Proviable-RB Powder

Mix one (1) packet of powder with 50 mL (1.75 fl. oz.) of drinking water. Change drinking water daily. Give one (1) packet per day for at least 5 days, or for as long as recommended by your veterinarian.

Consult your veterinarian if the pet’s condition does not improve within 24 to 48 hours.
