Nutramax Laboratories, Inc., and its subsidiaries and affiliates, including Nutramax Manufacturing, Inc. (collectively, "Nutramax", "we", "us", or "our"), are committed to protecting information that we collect from our California job applicants (each, a “Job Applicant”, “you”, or “your”) and use for recruitment and hiring-related purposes, and for the administration of our human resources functions in compliance with applicable law. This Nutramax Job Applicant Privacy Policy (this “Privacy Policy”) describes Nutramax’s practices regarding the collection, use, transfer, disclosure, and other handling of your personal information. We do not sell or share, and in the past 12 months have not sold or shared, personal information as defined under applicable law, including personal information of Job Applicants we know to be under 16 years of age.
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time to reflect changes in our personal information practices, and we will post a notice on Nutramax’s recruiting websites such as nutramaxlabs.com/join-our-family. If we change the Privacy Policy in a material way, we will provide appropriate notice to you such as posting a prominent notice on our websites or emailing you if you provided your email address to us.
This Privacy Policy only applies to Job Applicants who are residents of California. Please note this Privacy Policy does not apply to how we process your information as a customer, veterinarian, medical professional, supplier, consultant, contractor, service provider, vendor or as any other provider of Nutramax. 1. Information We Collect
Nutramax collects, and in the past 12 months has collected, the following categories of personal information about Job Applicants.

2. Use of Personal Information
Job Applicants interact with us in different ways. Please note that the collection and use of different types of information vary depending on the stage of the interviewing process and applicability. Nutramax collects personal information to engage with Job Applicants, to hire qualified Job Applicants, and to comply with applicable law.
While relatively uncommon, there may be occasions when we use personal information of Job Applicants for other purposes permitted under applicable law, for example, when we are required to disclose information in connection with contractual or legal matters such as information necessary to respond to law enforcement and governmental agency requests; comply with legal and contractual obligations; exercise legal and contractual rights; and initiate or respond to legal claims.
We also use personal information of Job Applicants for the following business purposes:
(1) Helping to ensure security and integrity to the extent the use of the Job Applicant’s personal information is reasonably necessary and proportionate for these purposes.
(2) Debugging to identify and repair errors that impair existing intended functionality.
(3) Short-term, transient use, provided that the Job Applicant’s personal information is not disclosed to another third party and is not used to build a profile about the Job Applicant or otherwise alter the Job Applicant’s experience outside the current interaction with Nutramax.
(4) Performing services on behalf of Nutramax.
(5) Undertaking internal research for technological development and demonstration.
(6) Undertaking activities to verify or maintain the quality or safety of a service or device that is owned by, manufactured by, manufactured for, or controlled by Nutramax, and to improve, upgrade, or enhance the service or device that is owned by, manufactured by, manufactured for, or controlled by Nutramax.
In certain instances, we may maintain and use information in a deidentified form. If we do so, we do not attempt to reidentify the information, except for the sole purpose of determining whether our deidentification processes satisfy the requirement under applicable law.
3. Disclosures of Personal Information
Nutramax discloses, and in the past 12 months has disclosed, all or substantially all categories of personal information to our affiliates and other recipients described below as we deem appropriate for our operational or business purposes as set forth in this Privacy Policy.
4. Retention of Personal Information
We retain and process Job Applicants' personal information for the length of time needed to carry out the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, and to the extent necessary to manage our relationships with Job Applicants, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our policies and agreements, consistent with our retention policy and as permitted by applicable law.
5. Rights for California Job Applicants
California residents have certain privacy rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018 (“CCPA”), as amended. We will honor privacy rights requests received to the extent required by applicable law and within the time provided by law.
Right to Know, Right to Correct, and Right to Delete.

If we believe we need further information to verify your request as required by law, we may ask you to provide additional information to us. We may deny your privacy requests or limit our response to your exercise of the above rights as permitted under applicable law. When you submit a request to exercise your rights above, we will use the information you provide to process your request and to maintain a record of your request and our response, as permitted or required under applicable law.
Right to Non-Discrimination. We may not discriminate against you because of your exercise of any of the foregoing privacy rights, or any other rights under the CCPA, including by retaliating against you for the exercise of your rights.
GPC Signal. Please note we do not respond to opt-out preference signals from Global Privacy Control (“GPC”) with respect to Job Applicants' personal information because we do not “sell” or “share” such personal information for monetary or other valuable consideration, or for cross-context behavioral advertising. Agent Authorization
You may designate a person with a power of attorney or an authorized agent to request any of the above rights on your behalf. You may make such a designation by providing the agent with written permission, signed by you, to act on your behalf. Even if you choose to use an agent, as permitted by law, we may require verification of the agent’s authorization to act on your behalf, require you to confirm you have authorized the agent to act on your behalf, or require you to verify your own identity.
